2003 IRAQ PROPHECY – Bryan Hupperts – COMMENTS?

A month before the US invasion of Iraq, Bryan Hupperts from the USA released the following prophetic word, for which he was mocked and heavily criticized – especially by Christians. We published it at that time under the following heading-

“To the President Of The United States”
-Bryan Hupperts (Feb 3, 2003).

Dear Mr. President,
Nothing manmade has ever fallen such great heights, as did the
shattered remains of the Space Shuttle Columbia. In an instant,
7 explorers lost their lives in yet another American tragedy. Tears
are the deepest expression of prayer because sometimes there
are simply no words to express the grief… Have you considered
that the repeating tragedies that keep striking the USA are also
warnings of a great storm to come?

Mr. President, I ask you to weigh my words carefully. No
rational person disputes that Saddam Hussein is the bad guy.
Even Muslim leaders will quietly acknowledge that he needs
to be removed from power. Yet I fear our insurgence into Iraq
will end in the greatest of all American tragedies. Sir, you are
leading our country into a diabolically laid trap.

Look to the Columbia as a prophetic warning. Other nations
mock you calling you the Imperial President. If you will seek
God for wisdom to avoid this military conflict, they will revere
you instead as the Regal President. Hussein can be
successfully dealt with only if you and your counselors will
humble yourselves and seek God for wisdom. If we invade
Iraq, it will signal to terrorists around the globe that the West
has declared jihad on Islam and it will ignite a Third World War.

The Pharaoh of Egypt survived the coming famine because he
heeded a godly interpretation of his troubled dreams. Look to
his example and consider the fate of the USA. The Columbia,
a perfect picture of the heights that the USA has flown to,
exploded and rained down in fiery debris all over Palestine, TX.
We need not die so young nor so senselessly as a nation…

Mr. President, rightly did you quote Isaiah when you said,
“Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens.” Yet nothing
manmade has ever fallen from such heights, as did the
Columbia. To openly invade Iraq will bring similar
consequences upon our own shores. Sir, do not leave a
Presidential legacy of, “Blood fire and vapor of smoke.”
Heed the very public warning. Understand the sign in the
sky. Seek the Lord.

Thank you.

The folly goes back a long way.

Recently – did the West not supply arms to the Taliban to help the overthrow of the Russian invasion of Afghanistan?

Did not the West support Saddam Hussein in the Iran/Iraq war?

Did not the UN weapons inspectors report that they had found no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, yet did not President Bush say “We know that he has weapons of mass destruction and we know where they are and we will find them within a month”?

Did the West not throw away the case for Democracy by using rendition to use torture without accountability?

Did the West not bury the case for Democracy by denying the captives the benefit of both the Geneva Convention and recourse to the Courts of Law?

It is the opinion of many that the Gulf War of 2003 followed by rendition and Guantanomo Bay have been the best recruiting agents for anti-Western terrorism. In my opinion it is difficult to argue against this – in spite of Tony Blair’s apparent refusal to face up to his responsibilities.

  2. The issue with America is not Islam. The Christian message of Love, forgiveness and obedience to our Creator are the real issues and far superior in truth than the hate and slavery of Islam. Problem is that America is no longer an example of God’s love and forgiveness. As a nation we export more porn now than Bibles. And as per Matt. 24-25 we are finding ourselves in the end of this age gathering speeding towards the return of our KING. So we should gather our energy to help the lost to find our Lord Jesus Christ and to help make disciples who are like Jesus. There is but one Church of Christ Jesus and all who love and obey HIM are members. So sort the word, flesh and devil from your world and focus on HIS Love, Holiness and Power for lifting up our LORD JESUS CHRIST and the winning and training of souls for HIM. Robert – the Christians have responsibilities in this too.

They “yahoo-ed” it all the way.

  4. Andrew Jun 18th 2014

In fact, here is a crucial question-

Would the USA have even invaded Iraq at all, without the massive support of the Christians?

I doubt it. Everyone knew the Christians were the number 1 supporters of the war.

    Something wrong with this picture.

  5. Robert Stockwell Jun 18th 2014

Andrew – that might have been true in USA, it certainly was NOT true in UK where I live) and many other parts of the world.

  6. Oh how America seems to have lost her way! How well Ken put it! How can Christians win the lost to the love and grace of Christ at the point of a gun and with bully-boy aggression?! How can we tell a nation that we have invaded and killed, and killed, and destroyed theirs, that God loves them, and that we are Christ’s Ambassadors? What RIGHT does America have to IMPOSE HER ways upon them?….Jesus NEVER did. He healed, He restored, He loved His enemies, He forgave, He ministered tenderly to those who were hurting. He gave the lost a CHOICE to come to Him, or stay lost.

If America says she is sending forces to Iraq to “protect her interests” isn’t that then claiming she has a right to make sure that another nation’s resources stay under America’s control, for America’s benefit – at the cost of the people of the invaded nation? Can’t America see WHY she is hated so much around the world?….why people have cried for decades, “GO HOME YANKEE!” And the tragedy of all this is that the Bible Belt – the “heart” of the Christian church in America has been staunchly behind these wars fought for “freedom”! She has been sending her sons to kill and be killed on foreign soil since Vietnam, claiming she is “protecting the world from communism”, and in fact it is all about resources, control, power, money, and protecting “capitalism”. America has built a war machine she HAS to feed now that consumes vast amounts of money – but would be a massive task to dismantle now……and can she, now that she has created such a plethora of hate-motivated enemies?

Jonathan Cahn, in his book, “The Harbinger” warned America and the American government that she was on a path that would lead to her destruction – IF she did not repent, and turn back to God. The church has lost its way, and needs to get back to its knees, back to Scripture – back to the cross of Christ. And so does the government of America. The nation of America could be a brilliant shining light of God’s love, mercy, compassion, grace – forgiveness. She could fill her vessels with healing oil, and pour them out on the nations, if she would turn her weapons into plow-shares, and her arrogance into Godly humility. Then God will heal HER wounds.

Hupperts obviously forgot the time the Great American Space Station Skylab cruised out of Orbit and into the Back Blocks of Western Australia in 1979 …. Years Before the whole Columbia Accident. (2003)
Why do people People think America can do ANYTHING about the Middle East Situation (other than make suggestions…)

  8. Johan Laubser Jun 18th 2014

The USA have the most deceived people on this planet. They believe every lie their government feeds them. Biggest problem there and the world over is a “christian type of person” who does not think for themselves and do not ask from Father, but seek man’s understanding and approval. NO LETTER TO ANY LEADER IN GOVERNANCE WILL HAVE AN EFFECT! Sorry, but true.

  9. Calvin Jun 18th 2014

Having just read this “prophecy”, a few things come to mind.

First, tragedies strike ALL nations, always has and always will until the Lord returns. Sometimes its the direct result of God’s intervention into the affairs of men in an attempt to get our attention. But this is not ALWAYS the case. Some tragedy is the result of sinful humanity making unwise decisions and fighting against itself. The Lord will use such tragedy, but He is not the direct cause of tragedy of this type.

Secondly, Surely, God can give the unbelievver wisdom, but Bush was no more a Christian than Saddam Husein was. Anyone who denies that Jesus christ is the ONLY way to the Father is not of God. A lot more could be said here, and factual information presented regarding the superficious “christianity” and occultic beliefs of G.W. Bush that were directly out of the mystery schools and gnosticism than scripture. but suffice to say neither he nor his “councillors” were biblical christians. He quoted selected scriptures, but He was playing to his audience and He meant them in a New Age sense. He also quoted directly from New Age, occultic writings as well.

Thirdly, some “truthful” statements were made in this “prophecy,” but that does not make it a prophetical utterance from the mouth of God. There is a whole lot more going on behind the curtains of world affairs than what we see or what is presented to us by the main-stream press. Bush and Sadaam were only the public human faces put to the sinister new age, demonic forces behind the scenes which controlled them and which plan the ultimate war…against God and His Truth.

The real issue was not the Iraq war and who is on which side. Such thinking is dialectic at heart and has no place in God’s kingdom. The real issue is the demonic rebellion which governs and controls the hearts of world leaders, taking them captive to do his ultimate will…

  10. There’s 1,000 prophecies for every geopolitical event. Some are bound to contain some truth, most do not. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

This prophecy claimed the US invasion of Iraq would signal that the US is at war with Islam. But that’s not what happened. Plenty of Islamic nations and Muslims supported the US invasion of Iraq. Prior to the US invasion, plenty of Muslims already saw the US as ‘the great satan’, so nothing significantly changed. The invasion certainly did not result in WW3.

WW3 will likely happen eventually, regardless. Therefore you could claim that the prophecy meant the invasion would EVENTUALLY result in WW3, though that’s not what the prophecy said. And you’d still have to draw some direct link, which gets harder to do every year.

  11. Christopher Gore Jun 18th 2014

It is very clear to me that there is very little Biblical understanding of what is going on right now. It is very clear to me that all that former President Bush did to try to help this country will never be respected by the ones (The American Church) he loved and respected the most. This is a sad commentary on us all. Not sure what happened the first time this was posted and it doesn’t matter because the American Church is heavily involved in the politics of America. 4,804 men and women died at this point in time for nothing. I weep for our fallen because they understood what they were dying for… the American Church and the American prophets do not. They want friends, they want popularity and they want a smoothed over gospel that makes people feel good. To Say that former President Bush didn’t hear from God is a travesty of all that he did. May God continue to bless this man for all the ridicule and abuse that he has had to suffer and endure still. I am very sad. When I read this, I feel that the author fully supports our Muslim president and his beliefs. I don’t want our country to go down. I don’t want people to die but the internal fighting that is going on within the prophetic realm is really heart breaking to me. You asked to hear from me, this is the way that I really feel. Call me what you want. I do not think what this article is saying is right. That is my opinion and you asked me to speak it.

  12. God uses man’s godless actions to further His own glorious ends. Judas, Caiaphas, Herod, and so many others plotted to get rid of Jesus Christ once and for all. It didn’t work. While they killed Him, they could not keep Him down. The Spirit of Almighty God raised Him from the dead. He has conquered death totally.

It is true that the Columbia went up and came down. Man sent it up; but who brought it down? Did man plan it that way. Just as modern wars are manufactured by certain groups of people, so are events commonly called tragedies. And such things are for the most part covered up by all the big players. This is done to keep the public in ignorance; it suits their ends.

Calvin is right about a number of points – perhaps all.

The devil and his underlings (demons) uses greedy men and women lusting for power and glory, to do their stealing. killing, and destroying, among the living. Yet even the devil is deceived by his own diabolical folly. And his own eternal punishment is not far away.

It is good that presidents and rulers are warned according to God’s word; warned about consequences of their own actions as leaders of nations; that every action produces a harvest, whether for cursing or blessing; and that God commands everyone everywhere to repent, including presidents and the like, for God has set a day – WHICH IS COMING, in which He will judge mankind by Jesus Christ having given assurance of this by raising Him from the dead.

No matter what man does, he will never avoid the inevitable – his own death and the coming judgment by Jesus Christ. Are the Presidents and Prime Ministers, and kings, and rulers ready?

Oh that men would consider their latter end.

  13. Christopher Gore, it’s hypocritical for you to say Andrew supports “our Muslim president” when you supported his predecessor, Bush, who said Christians and Muslims pray to “the same God”. By that statement of his it can be inferred that Bush prays to the same God that you say Obama does.

Why don’t you focus on the log in your own eye and not on what you say is a speck in Andrew’s?

  14. Christopher Gore Jun 18th 2014

RD – Who is Andrew? Am I missing something? Isn’t the article’s author is Bryan Hupperts? Regardless, not sure why this would be considered hypocritical… please explain?

  15. On April 20, 2001, on a radio broadcast, the Lord revealed to me that something terrible was coming to America very soon. (It’s still on tape). On 9/11, He reminded me that He had told me about this.
Shortly after, the Lord told me that there would be three wars, tumbling downhil like an avalanche heading to the great war in Revelations where 1/3 of the world dies. It didn’t take a prophet to figure out that we were going to Afghanistan. Iraq was next. There will be one more.
I don’t know how things will transition into that final and great war of Revelations, but I know we are on a downhill run heading right there. Whatever the theological reasons and analyzations may be, no matter whose fault it is, the fact remains that we are heading for terrible times.
Whatever is coming will be explosive in nature, (whether financial, social, or political, or military, I don’t know), and it will strike at the heart of the Pollyanna Prosperity Gospel that we are so enamored with. It will be far worse than 9/11, but my hope and prayer is that it will be shocking enough to bring us to our knees in repentance so that He can have mercy upon us.
Revival is coming according to the prophet Joel and Isaiah, but not before repentance changes our hearts. It will take something hard to break us. In every judgment of God are the seeds for the next revival.

Ken, Simon, Ian & some others, excellent posts.
Sometimes we just miss the real point don’t we. SOme of these posts deserve a re read & careful thought.
    Be Blessed. Ian (another Ian)

  17. We are witnessing the book of Revelation being fulfilled before our eyes. The New World Order/Elite are the Luciferians now in control of not just the USA but of every nation. God’s time clock is running out. America must lose it’s Superpower status and be taken down.

The illegal alien who sits enthroned in DC is a person that no one even knows who he is. However God knows and He alone permitted him to gain access to this position. He is a Muslim bringing about Jihad to this nation. All the puzzle pieces are fitting together as per Exec, Daniel and Rev.

Most of the horrors done in this nation however, and blamed on the Muslims have been accomplished by our own govt….called False Flag events. Congress and leaders are all puppets of the orders of the Elite. They are in office to do their bidding.

The US used Sadam….evil as he was, and then had him disposed of. All leaders of Nations must be removed to bring into being the 10 Super Nations that Antichrist will rule over. These ten include each nation of the world. He will soon rise to power and his plan is to rid this earth of every Born Again Believer. He will not stop and will be able to martyr a good portion of them. And “they overcame him (Satan) by the Blood of the Lamb AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES EVEN UNTO THE DEATH….as per Rev.

The evilness of this nation killing 70+million innocent babies in the womb since Roe v Wade and add ten to twenty thousand each and every day is a horror that God will not overlook. Their blood cries out from the ground against this nation and The Eternal Father hears each and every cry of each baby. We have sinned away our day of Grace as a nation, now only individuals will be reached for him and saved. We must prepare for Eternity. That is the ONLY thing that now matters. And we must sanctify ourselves unto holiness and purity, and fear nothing in our cause for Christ, and a life of prayer. We are His remnant and we go forth holding the Blood Stained Banner of the Cross of Calvary high….no matter if it costs us, even our very lives and it will indeed be a high cost. But the end will be worth it all! We ARE citizens of a far, far better world and even now, we are marching to His orders.

  18. The murder of fifty million children sounds to me like more realistic grounds for judgement and destruction…..the war in Iraq is just added to the pile…..I don’t see it as pivotal, except in the way it provoked Islamist jihadists….but they were already angry at the USA and the west i.e. Sept. 11, 2001

  19. liz448 Jun 18th 2014

Do not repeat the statement about WW III. “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue” – Prov 18:21.

Jesus who knew only the Judaic teachings was aware of the power of speaking words with mental agreement. When the words with mental agreement are destructive, it is a curse. Instead based on the finished work of the Messiah in defeating evil, we can ask forgiveness for all things the government did in invading Iraq and refuse the enemy ability access to start such a war. See John 20:23 and Colossians 2:15.

  20. Christopher Gore Jun 18th 2014

liz448 – It’s going to happen whether we speak it into existence by our mouths or the satanists speak it into existence. Do you realize that they (satanists, islamists, etc) are? There expectation is war. Great the American Church speaks only positive things into the atmosphere. WWW III is coming.

WW3 will likely happen eventually, regardless. Therefore you could claim that the prophecy meant the invasion would EVENTUALLY result in WW3, though that’s not what the prophecy said. And you’d still have to draw some direct link, which gets harder to do every year.

I can’t believe that I jumped into this today. I feel dirty. What is the point of having this discussion? Seriously? What is this accomplishing? Everyone is getting offended and nothing is being done to evangelize the world. I am sorry I stepped into this cesspool. You can have the illusion of control the thought. You win. I respectfully withdraw my comments. This is a waste of good time.

  21. Christopher Gore,

I think I misunderstood your comment. My apologies.

  22. John Hayworth Jun 18th 2014

Since when do prophecies have copyright?

  23. liz448 Jun 18th 2014

Those who were later called christians by society were originally those who were either Jews or non-Jews who believed that the Promises in Judaism of the Messiah were fulfilled in the man the Greeks called Jesus.

The religion of christianity reflected the service, buildings, leadership structure etc. of the roman emperor who was the high priest to the roman gods. The ruling religions were mithraism (popular among the roman military) and sun worship. Belief in the egyptian isis (mother god) had overtaken worship of jupiter around 200-300 AD when roman catholicism, claiming to be true, was formed.

Get the paganism out of your faith and seek Father to teach you. The bibles were translated with roman catholic influence. Ask Father to teach you when you read the bible or anything. He is Your Teacher – see Matthew 23:8-10. Without the guidance of Father you will never know the Truth through head knowledge. You have to be born of the water (immersion in water according to the principles of Judaism for conversion, not baptism) and the Spirit (your spirit becomes a part of the Family of the Messiah, and you change from within). You will always know a person in the Family of the Messiah where his Father is their Father, from their character. They will show the character of the man the christians call Jesus.

  24. 100% Zululander Jun 18th 2014

    C Gore you said,
Everyone is getting offended and nothing is being done to evangelize the world.
Obviously you’re not doing anything, but let me assure you with all confidence, many many many are doing it & giving & losing their lives for it DAILY IN MOST SEVERE CIRCUMSTANCES in all parts of the world

  25. liz448 Jun 18th 2014

Christopher Gore, you should study the Promises of the Messiah (Moshiach) in Judaism. The man Jesus was not a christian and he would never have endorsed the contaminating influence of paganism which corrupts the whole, however small it is. (A little leaven leavens the whole).

In the Moshiach you are just as he is – 1John 4:17. You can create a reality based on his finished work, as you are led of Father. He never did anything unless Father taught him.

The christian religion taught people to live humble, suffer and hope for a better next life. What better way for defeated darkness to control and steal the power and authority vested in man through the Messiah? The Jewish Moshiach came to restore to man full control over the defeated works of darkness, which come to kill, steal and destroy – John 10:10. Hence his awesome instruction in John 16:33 and John 14:12. In this world, he told us, we will have challenges, but we are to be extremely full of joy because he has already defeated the system that is challenging us. See also Colossians 2:15. In John 14, he told us we will do even greater things than he did, because he as our Head is one in Father, and we as his body are included. See also Phil 2:5-6.

The Just shall live by faith (their belief expressed in their thought, words and actions) – Habbakuk 2:4, Romans 1:17.

I have personally heard “prophecies of disaster” and have destroyed them. One was the one through godtv about some disaster in California. I was at one of those meetings when it was said. At another time I had a dream that a nuclear bomb went off in the US. I knew it was a warning, and I destroyed it in the Power of Father restored to me in the Messiah (Moshiach).

Touch not the unclean thing – 2 Corinthians 6. Touch not the pagan traditions that are the mixture that is hated – Rev 3:15-16.

The Jewish Messiah came to restore (reconcile) man to his overcoming Family where God of the Blessing is his Father. (Isaiah 45:7 tells you that all, including death and darkness (evil) is of the Kingdom of God, because He creates everything – see Colossians 1:16-17). In the Moshiach we are only in the Life and Light dimension of the Kingdom of God.

The Jews will say that they will be totally one with HaShem in the Moshiach.

  26. A long awaited outpouring to the Arab nations of Bibles and the Gospel message is whats needed.
Problem is who can hear unless there is a preacher(s) and their preaching a true gospel, thats the responsibility of the body of Christ not governments.
Gods answer has always repentence and forgiveness to this fallen world.
His kingdom is not of this world

  27. As a German I consent anyway.
But World War III has yet to come (@…If we invade
Iraq, it will signal to terrorists around the globe that the West
has declared jihad on Islam and it will ignite a Third World War.)

  28. liz448 Jun 18th 2014

Christopher Gore, the Father created Sons not slave workers who are ridden with guilt because they thin they are failing the “great commission!”

Study why Jesus, the Jewish Moshiach came and his assignment to reconcile us to Father, and how we can relax and yet conquer – he said, his burden was light [the word in the greek says, it was extremely light] and his yoke easy…Matthew 11:30.

It is the enemy who is contrary to the Word of Father who makes people feel they have to slave for Father, when He tells us relax and conquer – I have done it all. See John 16:33, Colossians 2:15.

  29. Shirley Jun 18th 2014

  30. Ezekiel Rose Jun 18th 2014

Robert Stockwell I totally agree with you. That was a good start to the comments.

The whole war on terror is a trap. An economic trap driven by the military industrial complex as warn about by Eisenhower. The total estimated cost in the future is over $5,000,000,000,000. That’s 5 trillion dollars. It’s already three trillion now.

The human cost of the war is horrific. It is estimated by one source that there were over a million Iraqis killed and that probably doesn’t count all the deaths as a result of the violence since we pulled out.

The official number of American casualties is about 4,500 but that’s just fudging the figures just like they do with the unemployment stats. What they don’t tell you is that they don’t count the number of deaths as a result of injury 24 hours after being injured once they’ve flown someone to a hospital in Germany. The true number could be as high as 25,000. That’s not to mention the hundreds of thousands of veterans that need health care. It’s easier to understand the VA scandal when you realize the system is overloaded with such a massive number.

There were 1.4 million Christians in Iraq in 1987 before the first gulf war. Now it’s estimated that there are only 400,000 and you can guarantee that number will shrink even more. Saddam may have been a brutal dictator but he must have been doing something right with all the Christians that use to live and worship freely in Iraq when he was in charge.

Speaking of the unemployment stats folks we’re in a lot of trouble.

The illegal alien invasion is just rubbing salt into our wounds. At a cost of 2 billion dollars just this year alone when veterans aren’t getting their health care and when we have so many homeless and much poverty in general. Remember that for starters most of them are Catholic. There are more Catholics than Protestants in America. Also nothing against Democrats because personally I believe both Republicans and Democrats have been destroying America but the vast majority of these illegals will be voting Democrat if they get the right to vote.

Catholics and some Protestants have been giving aid to the illegal aliens and helping them funnel on to their destinations.

I don’t have a problem with private citizens helping the poor in other countries but if you’re going to help them then help them where they are at. Just helping foreigners into your own country doesn’t solve the problem of poverty in their country. Ultimately the governments of Mexico and Central America are responsible for the fact that their citizens live in poverty but then again Central banks have a responsibility which means that wealthy Americans are partly responsible. But that’s another topic.
Back to the war on terror.

Benghazi attack could have been prevented if US hadn’t ‘switched sides in the War on Terror’ and allowed $500 MILLION of weapons to reach al-Qaeda militants, reveals damning report

    • Citizens Committee on Benghazi claims the US government allowed arms to flow to al-Qaeda-linked militants who opposed Muammar Gaddafi
    • Their rise to power, the group says, led to the Benghazi attack in 2012

My fellow Americans, America never switched sides Al-Qaeda has always been a branch of the CIA.

Yes Joyce I totally agree with you. 9/11 was a false flag attack. Don’t believe me? Just ask W. He told us about the terrorists putting explosives in the buildings. How would Arab terrorists pull off such a massive job without raising suspicions?

With the war on terror, 55 million babies aborted, pornography saturation, homosexuality, drug and alcohol addiction, violence and atheism we’re in for some hard judgment and we need some hard repentance. With 92 million working age Americans already unemployed I’d say we’re already in the midst of judgment and we’re just waiting for the economy to collapse.

  31. doug mcconnell Jun 18th 2014

I guess for me I consider fruit. Jesus said much about if we follow him we will bear much fruit. It is worth considering from a personal, national and international perspective.

My heart is saddened as i see whats happening in Iraq at this very time.

Whilst all the reasons are very complex bearing good fruit that will last isnt complex, its tangible and I wonder, for all our labours, if we are indeed not staying close enough to Christ corporatly.

Just a thought, because I am challenged about my responsibility as the guns yet again rain down on bagdad

  32. Serenity Jun 18th 2014

Yes Joyce, there is much truth in what you wrote.

From what I see and hear from professed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, so few of us are sanctifying ourselves and seeking the Lord that we may endure to the end and do His will today.
When preachers say,”You don’t need to pray for revival, as it will come by itself. This is the ‘word of the Lord’ “, and, ”My vision for 2014 for the youth is building ‘community’ among them ; no more old-fashioned Bible studies for them.” When one hears this in two different, supposedly live-wire congregations in the city, one can know that deception is rife and destruction (of whatever kind) is on its way.
This being added to all the provocations of the Lord mentioned above by others.
Let us watch and pray and be ready for whatever the Lord allows where WE live.

  33. With great patriotism the USA display “IN GOD WE TRUST” in halls of justice etc etc and with great gusto we Kiwis sing the NZ National Anthem – “GOD DEFEND NEW ZEALAND”.
Do we really see evidence of this in our ‘society’ today?
One warning was received centuries ago – Galatians 6: 7 & 8 stating that “God will not be mocked” and the consequences of “reaping and sowing”.
My input would be – “Ask for His wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding in all matters. What we can see in the ‘physical’ is only a ‘drop in the ocean’ to what is happening to our world spiritually. Our cornerstone is Christ – be careful not to ‘build’ too much on any thing other than His Word – that is where Christian maturity and the strength to ‘stand’ comes from. The time is very near when He is going to ‘call’ and we are going to need every ounce of spiritual strength and maturity to heed and obey.”

I am going out on a limb to say this but you should consider this before the Lord. All the examples you give are based on BEFORE the Messiah came to the earth to redeem creation. Now the price has been paid for all mistakes made and will ever be made. Now I can never make a mistake. It is paid for before I made it. That is Truth and it will set me free and as I am free my desire is not blinded by the lie, so my desire to sin is negated as I become more like my Father and He has no desire to sin…

Now I am led by the Spirit of Father, and I am guided by His Peace within me – Romans 8:14, Colossians 3:15.

Andrew if you don’t want to post my comment because of some of the content then please feel free to edit. I’d rather some of it be posted then none at all.

  36. Joyce, I agree we are watching the coming together of a One World Beast system, and we are also watching the prophecied coming together of the whore of Babylon whom rides this Beast, the apostate church whom will follow after the antichrist.

Brian was right in what he saw re-guarding Iraq. It has opened up the door to jihadists all over.
the chemical weapons, weapons of mass destruction made its way to Syria taken out of Iraq and placed there.

What stuck out to me the most in the comments you made, which I fully agree with is:

We have sinned away our day of Grace as a nation, now only individuals will be reached for him and saved. We must prepare for Eternity. – – – That is the ONLY thing that now matters – – -.

We also must keep in mind we also have bothers and sisters in Christ whom are persecuted Muslem’s some perhaps facing death, and we need to keep them in our prayers.

  37. Michael Booth Jun 18th 2014

My reply added; America is falling and with it, it will take the Western world sadly to say since 9/11 all is being orchestrated to bring in a New World Order……… which will see this worlds final days, It is time to LOOK UP and see your redemption take your eyes off the world and put them on our Redeemed, Yahushua, And put down our guns and take up the sword of truth…… this world has to come to this for sin is in its blood

  38. The debris rained down on Palestine, TX Understand the meaning.
It is the US favour of the terrorist palestinians and opposition to new settlements that is stirring the Lord.
It is all to do with the Holy land, forget Iraq.

  39. The war in Iraq was the sovereignty of God. It WAS wrong of us but allowed by Him. ONLY believers who disagree with the awful God defacing and defaming false doctrine of eternal damnation (and then again only some of them), understand that that war was atool in the hand of God to bring in the greatest revival of all time, which in turn will hail the millenium which in turn will eventually bring in the salvation of all flesh when EVERY KNEE shall bow and EVERY toungue confess Jesus. If you are not blind you what I mean, if you are blind you have no clue. L

  40. The Bible admonishes us to test all prophecies and hold on to the good. When I read these prophecies I always wonder if the prophet should maybe curtail his or her intake of MSNBC, FOX NEWS, CNN, BBC, Etc., so that the prophecies sound more like prophecies from God and less like political punditry. Maybe God gives people political prophecies because that is where there interest is or maybe they are praying about that kind of stuff. I am more interested in what is going on in the kingdom of God and envision Jesus being a little more above all the nonsense.

There are secular pundits who can lay claim to predicting the outcome, see Michael Savage “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.” (2005) In the book Savage predicts that Bush and the Neo Cons invasion of Iraq will eventually lead to a fall, and the everything will divide along Sunni/Shiite lines and create a super-sized Iran. Without condoning the title – that is a secular source, and that guy may even have a better claim to waking up a prophet this week than Huppert.

I am not saying God does not give people prophecies about this kind of stuff, I am just not 100% sure why he would. It is not like the President is ever going to hear most of them, let alone be able to discern which one is really from God. I wonder this for myself as well. For some reason God gave me a prophecy for George Bush back when he was in office. I don’t remember having any interest in George Bush or what was going on at the time. The prophecy was essentially that God wanted Bush out speaking to the people and building character in the people rather than staying in DC signing papers and making everybody mad. Now I never ran into George bush or bothered to try and give him that prophecy. There was nothing in it about any politics or wars. I figured maybe God was just teaching me that the president still is a powerful voice in the United States and can do a lot to build character in the people. Bush was hiding in Washington rather out doing what God wanted him doing, which was somewhat understandable as the people who hated him really hated him.

The virtues of the Iraq invasion aside, I believe it there was some divinely orchestrated symbolism to Sadaam Hussein being found laying on the ground like Lazarus in the parable about the rich man and Lazurus. Now as far as we know Sadaam was not a believer, but Sadaam went to hell and it was like the rich man and Lazarus. In the natural I know he was given hundreds of millions of dollars just from the United States government to help his people, and he spent it on luxuries and building his 80 some palaces. Not trying to put anyone in any weird financial bondage, but it is a good reminder to anyone taking in material wealth, particularly someone taking money from God’s people, that we will one day give account to God for every last dollar.

I would rather hear prophecies about what is holding back power in the church. People are waiting for God to send a big corporate revival, but God is only sending revival to individuals who are seeking him. God cannot give ministers within the church as it is now much power because they would do both good and evil. We need individuals to arise who allow God to work in them to the point that He can trust them with great power.

  41. Interestingly, I am hearing more Christian voices moan about the fall of freedom and liberty in the USA.

But where were these voices when gay marriage began attacking the God-ordained Covenant of Marriage, which has been exclusive to a male and female union for millennia?

Where were the Christian voices when the murder of baby in mommy’s belly was legislated from the Supreme Court into law?

Where were the Christian voices when prayer and the Bible were outlawed in the public schools of America?

You may weep and cry for the loss of your American freedom and prosperity. You may continue to blame President Obama, and other politicians for your personal loss of America’s benefits, but it is God you are crying against. The fall of the US and it’s rise as daughter Babylon is the result of a lukewarm and backslidden church in America.

When you had your freedom and prosperity to the full, you said “thank God for such a great nation”, all the while ignoring it’s murderous and anti-christ ways.

So weep and cry for that which you have loved more than the Lord and His Kingdom. This world and all that is in it will soon pass away, so weep and cry for your dying freedom and prosperity while you can.

This is the man to who the Lord will look, “Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” Isaiah 66:1-2

  42. Daniel Jun 19th 2014

Am I missing something, or is Heike the only person here who realizes the prophecy was false?
Iraq has not been a trap – most of our troops are out, and there is no WWIII going. We successfully deposed Hussein, proved that treaties like that at the end of the Gulf War cannot be ignored with impunity, and drew all the terrorists to the middle east, away from USA.
Why is anyone paying attention to this failed “prophecy?”

  43. Marilyn C Jun 19th 2014

I think Calvin rightly said ` the real issue is the demonic rebellion which governs & controls the hearts of world leaders, taking them captive to do his ultimate will….`

    Jesus said,

`My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting….` (John 18: 36)

  44. Marilyn C Jun 19th 2014

    Now concerning the nations…..

Bernard Lewis, the American Historian of Islamic affairs said –

`The Gulf war was a signal that the end of the cold war does not mean the beginning of peace, but the beginning of a new form of war – a war being waged by Moslem Fundamentalists – against the West.`

Like a stone thrown into a pond & causing ripples, the Gulf War has made a decisive impact throughout the Middle East & beyond. The resulting effect will create a new alignment of nations previously considered of second-class status. This is causing a remarkable shift in the balance of power. It will forge a confederation of infinite prophetic significance, precisely foretold 25 centuries ago.

The prophetic calender has been programmed for centuries. The Middle East has returned to the centre of the international stage in the precise time-slot predicted.

Increasing tensions & recent developments in that area have made it conspicuously obvious that the world finds itself confronting the consequences of the global march of Islam. The most sadistic & formidable confederacy ever encountered, is emerging from the obscurity, frustration & economic deprivation of centuries. Their complete ruthlessness has been shockingly & vividly demonstrated
by the Saddam Hussein regime & now across Syria & Iraq.

The two factions of Islam – the Sunni & the Shi-ite Moslems, are in constant conflict. This polarisation will continue to create tension & turmoil. It will inhabit this confederacy realising its full potential. Eventually, however, a predicted paramount dictator will emerge from their midst. He will unite them into the invincible ruthless super-power that will dominate the whole world.

I cannot agree with you more!!!

    So true….

  46. liz448 Jun 19th 2014

Those “prophecies” may be misnamed…often we can see what the enemy plans so that we can overthrow those plans.

Evil can always be overcome and we see this even before the Messiah came to the earth in the case of Nineveh and Jonah’s prophecy of destruction. The sign of a true prophet in Judaism is not judged therefore by evil not coming to pass, but by prophesied blessings not coming to pass.

Those in the Messiah have power over evil on the earth in his authority just as he has – see 1John 4:17. If that was not so, we would not have had anything to do after he physically left the earth.

If you study the Jewish Promises of the Messiah and see those Promises as fulfilled and live them, while isolating all christian influences, as Father teaches you, you will find the most awesome life – walking led by Father’s Peace and Supernatural life…see Matthew 23:8-10.

This is what happens when churches stop teaching the whole of scriptural truth.
We reap what we have sown.
It says in Romans 1, Suppressing the truthand that they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor where they thankful.
    Romans 1

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,

30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

  49. Yes…there was Colombia, and in 1986 Challenger, but the point is the United States entering the Middle East was already part of the judgement on the USA, as was 9/11 which was the precursor.

Its just that no-one has read the signs of impending doom.

The Middle East (Iraq) is the powder keg, and America lit the fuse!

  50. Sadly, it is prophecy that the US is cursed to continually have son’s die in the land of the Chaldeans (Babylon). No matter how much they try to pull their troops, the US is cursed to be unable to do so.

Interestingly, The primary occupants of the land of Babylon today are those who work at a place called “Fortress of the Americas”. I guess it’s only fitting that daughter Babylon (USA) rules that ancient land, since the Fortress of the Americas is the Embassy of the USA in Iraq.

Yes, the USA is rooted and anchored in Babylon in many ways.

  51. Andrew Jun 19th 2014

Every time we post something that questions if Christians should promote war or become aggressive political activists, we get the same thing.

People accuse me of being an “Obama lover”.

I am NOT any kind of Obama supporter. I simply cannot see in the Bible where the early Christians promoted WAR or draped their Bible in the “flag”.

As soon as you do that, you are losing Christianity.

    Blessings to all,

    Andrew Strom.

  52. When leaders of a nation and political agents of a nation say that they are “exceptional”, and believe to the best nation in the world, it gives me the same chilling feeling when hearing how the builders of the Titanic said that nothing could sink her, not even God.

When men make such great swelling words of themselves, they risk being put to the test.

  53. There’s a spirit in the US church that has overcome some of the saints. No one can reason with them. They want a King. They hate the King that their secular democracy provided them, through elections. They tear and verbally beat down the man. To them, he isn’t worthy. He is fallen. He is a sinner, so they castigate him on his faults, constantly belittling him. If he says north, they say south, if he says south, they say north.

If he calls black white, they call it green. The energies of these christians are spent on berating, tearing down, calling for a King that is up to their standards, and the Lord will send them a King that they insist on.

When Jesus Christ is no more than a relic or a piece of jewelry put on the necks of highly-paid officials, talk show radio hosts, politicians, and the saints of the most High God listen to them berate, slander and foul-mouth, then the Lord will send that strong delusion and give them a King they deserve.

The anti-Christ will be a man of war. He won’t be a coward, or a man who is weak, ill-prepared, or wishy-washy, or prefers to work diplomatically. For those who hate meekness and love hubris and war-mongering and crusading with the banner of the christian religion held high, they may get the King they deserve and demand.

Sam 8:10:-20: “And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner ofthe king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself for his chariots and to be his horsemen, and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of the chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And hewill take the tenth of your seek, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep; and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which he shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and the said, Nay but we will have a king over us; That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.”

  54. The seeming ignorance of Bible prophecy on the Middle east and Jerusalem in particular appalls me!
Zechariah 12 comes to mind immediately
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

And the warning? Do not meddle with Jerusalem!
The fig tree in Matthew was cursed by Jesus, it promptly withered away and would no longer bear fruit forever but in the last days would bud and bear leaves only. and in the same chapter
“43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation (Ethnos not church) bringing forth the fruits thereof”

The main battle we should concern ourselves with is not the Middles East but the one between the ears, that is where satan”s seat is, entrenched firmly in the mind of the unregenerate Adamic race. “Multitudes in the valley of decision”

  55. goodwordtoday Jun 19th 2014

One positive thing to remember about invading Iraq – it stopped the majority of the suicide bombings in Israel. It hasn’t been good for us but it was helpful to Israel.

  56. Ezekiel Rose Jun 19th 2014

And therein lies the problem goodwordtoday. Over a million Iraqis may have died and many of them were Christians. Four million became refugees as well. Possibly 25,000 American military personnel died and hundreds of thousands of them need medical care now. We’re going to be saddled with 5 trillion dollars of debt for the war on terror.

We do all this for Israel? Tens of thousands of Iraqis die in suicide bombings so Israel can have less themselves?

Don’t get me wrong I don’t wish suicide bombings on the Israelis as I don’t wish them on any one but this is not the way to do it.

I have some scripture for you.

    Deuteronomy 30:1 – 3

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

The vast majority of Jews today reject Christ. They don’t obey his word. Many if not most of them are atheists.

If you believe that God blesses those who bless Israel and curse those who curse them would you consider the result of the war on terror to be a blessing or a curse?

Ultimately God will fight for Israel. If you don’t believe that then what kind of a God do you serve?

  57. Ezekiel Rose Jun 19th 2014

Lest we forget, the Jews only make up only part of Israel. The rest are still scattered among the nations.

  58. This is the kind of covenant God we serve. Part of this is happening right now, part of this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled.

    Zechariah 12

    New King James Version (NKJV)

    The Coming Deliverance of Judah

12 The burden[a] of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4 In that day,” says the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.

7 “The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

    Mourning for the Pierced One

10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.[b] 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

All that is happening now is the beginning of fulfilled prophecy concerning the end of days.

  59. David Kelling Jun 19th 2014

Actually to go back and look at the inside of the founding of the U.S.A will say a lot. It will show where the rot and decay comes from just like Israel, I also ask you who do you think spiritual Israel is? I have just finished reading Thomas Horn’s book called, Zenith 2016, a very interesting read on the history of Lucifer in America, from the Illuminati to the Mason’s. The book is well documented as I looked up some of the many sources used and found them to be true. So in essence this whole Iraq thing is playing out as intended to lead us to and through the end times. The only truth is in the word and the Holy Spirit not man. So who do we cling to, the rock Yashua our Savior, amen. Shalom in Yashua; Dr. David.

  60. The issue I have with this may not be relevant but I don’t think this is a prophecy. It is Bryan’s own wise words to the President. They are balanced and insightful but not a declaration of “thus saith the lord”

And if it was a Prophecy then one part of it didn’t come to pass, the invasion of Iraq didn’t result in a third world war.

To me it is irrelevant what transpired in Iraq and what is still happening. We are living in the End days, wars and rumours of wars will be common place. Yes many may die innocently or justifiably, but that doesn’t change the fact that whether people die in conflict or in a hospital surrounded by family, 90 percent of those entering eternity are going to Hell and it is the Churches responsibility to preach the true word of the Gospel to them. It is on our watch that the word is as heathen as it is. That is the more important message!

  61. Andrew Jun 19th 2014

But Ben – the US Christians were the main supporters of this war that killed 1 million men, women and children.

Does that sound like Jesus to you?

    Andrew Strom.

  62. Andrew why were American christians the main supporters of the war, in what way. Were their church leaders who encouraged the war? I had not heard of this before.

  63. Andrew Jun 19th 2014

Absolutely. The Christians have been the most ardent supporters of the military and war in the whole USA. I lived there for 4 years during this period. It was obvious to all.

    Andrew Strom

  64. Actually concerning what is going on now, most Christians I speak with are not in favor of another long war in Iraq. They do fear a takeover of the Muslem brotherhood, in the middle east, but the Lord watches over Israel, people here are looking and expecting another 911 our worst involvement under this current administration is. we have been arming our enemies the Muslem brotherhood, I think we opened the door for terrorism when we got involved with Egypt. We as a nation are no longer taken seriously. We surely are reaping what we have sown spiritually as a nation. I agree what is important now is souls, we truly are on the forefrount of the end of days Prophecies.
    Blessings, lynn

  65. Ezekiel Rose Jun 19th 2014

Lynn didn’t you read the Daily Mail article I posted? We have been arming Al Qaeda not just the Muslim Brotherhood. We’ve been doing it from the get go. I haven’t read enough to confirm that we’ve been propping up ISIS but I know for a fact that Maliki is absolutely correct when he blames Saudi Arabia for supporting ISIS. Saudi Arabia is one of our biggest allies and we have been winking at them funding ISIS to overthrow Assad in Syria all this time. I’m not sure how bad Assad really is but he like Saddam ensures safety for Christians. If they lose the secular government their they will replace it with an Islamist government with Sharia law. The majority in America today are opposed to war. The reason Obama held back against attacking Syria was because the American public pressured their elected politicians to stand down. We’ve had enough of war. I agree with Andrew that at the time of the Iraq War many Christians were all gung ho about invading Iraq. I don’t know how many Christians support war today but I really would like to know.

  66. Ezekiel Rose
Yes I agree. Many Christians were concerned for Israel and WMD which we just gave the UN inspectors too mch time and they were moved to Syria. We just need to sty out of war, we have so much war here now in America, America is split. The church for the most part is seeing a falling away into aposasty.
    Blessings, lynn

  67. Hi Andrew,
“Absolutely. The Christians have been the most ardent supporters of the military and war in the whole USA. I lived there for 4 years during this period. It was obvious to all.”
Dare we then pose the question these Americans Bible Christians?; Or are they Christian in name only?. i would suggest that if they are Christians, then the second question arises. Why are they war mongering, are they walking in the Spirit?
I have witnessed a Spirit filled man king get hit and repeatedly punched about the head shoulders an neck – deliberately being provoked to hit back , but refusing to do so. The wife of the attacker called the police who on arrival ended the matter. which had lasted about 20 minutes. The victim laid no charges.
.Less than few minutes later the “victim” showed no bruising or mark or sign at all of his ordeal!
He refused to engage in a punch-up with this poor man and the Lord protected him…To me this is a man of the “like precious faith” Stephen the first martyr of the NT demonstrated – . As born again Christians, is this not whom we all should desire to emulate?
    Pr Michael

  68. Andrew Jun 20th 2014

I wonder if U.S. Christians will ever see how much damage has been done by wrapping the Bible in the “flag”.

    How this “hyper-patriotism” ruins Christianity.

Millions killed. The middle east destabilized.

Is this what the apostles did in their day? Promoted wars?

    -Andrew Strom.

  69. Hope I can express myself here. I’m not a versed bible scholar, but, we know we are in the world, not of the world.

If a christian chooses to have a career with government, politicians, lawmakers, they know it will challenge their walk. So, for churches to use a pulpit to preach politics and ask the saints to vote and play the games that politicians play, lobbying, bartering, competing, manipulating, using unbiblical ad tactics, spending the thousands and millions of dollars on campaigns (which is sinful), and compromising their beliefs to keep their base happy, then the church has completely been blinded. If the church encourages the saints to get involved in placing secular men in compromise, sending others to war and occupation where innocents are killed, the church is guilty.

The pastors who encourage this have innocent blood on their hands. They have no shame, they don’t seem to mind the carnage of war, but rejoice and declare victory believing that it’s a divine entitlement. They seem to believe that the West is all good and the middle east (barring Israel) is all bad. And I can’t understand the obsessive of these pastors, meddling in and manipulating events for Israel. She belongs to the Lord. It’s not our call to meddle and create two camps as good and evil. The cursing and blessing verses need to be taken in context. I don’t believe our Lord Jesus would have us get involved and supporting sending weapons to our allies so they can use them against souls that He died for. We can pray for Israel, but we also now as spiritual sons and daughters should pray for their neighbors, pray that they find Him before a massive war breaks out. In the flesh, sending delta force teams and rah-rah-rah’ing feels like a good solution but we aren’t supposed to live our lives in the flesh. We just are not called, by the NT, to do this. All I know is that this does not represent the real Jesus. Somehow a prototype Jesus has been created to fit with their Old Testament standards. These pastors always quote the OT scripture. It overrules the quotes of our Lord in the gospels and overrules the epistles. I don’t know where we went so wrong.

Actually, I do not believe we went into Iraq because of any “WMD”. That was simply an excuse to get the American people emotionally on board. It was because Hussein switched his petrol trading unit from the $ US Dollar to the Euro. He made billions in a matter of months. The FED/ USA Banksters could never let an OPEC nation do this without great retribution as it would collapse the house of cards we call an economy. All of the other OPEC nations saw what we did – we put a puppet govt in place who would do what the Great Harlot demanded.

Anyone who does minimal research of the plethora of information out there will rightly conclude that our trade towers were not and could not be brought down by 2 air planes. There was NO plane that hit the pentagon. Please do NOT spout back hateful opinions until you have looked at some of the PILES of information available to any of the sheeple who will break from the major media outlets (owned by a handful of the Banking Elite who actually run this nation). For those of you who would rather keep your head iin the sand – just keep watching the Democrat/MSNBC – Republican/ FOX Puppet show so that you can tell yourself we live in a democracy. Very soon you wilil see that Mystery Babylon is indeed a mystery – even to her own people. IMHO
The good news has never changed. Jesus Christ has defeated satan, sin and death. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed and is worthy to open the scroll.
People get ready – intimacy and Holiness is the oil that illumines our lamp in these last days. You will NEED that oil when the cry goes out at midnight. GET READY – There will be no rapture before tribulation. We need to walk with our King! Selah

Yes Rebecca that is correct. They couldn’t let Saddam get away with that. Ghadaffi didn’t even want to bother with the Euro he wanted to create a pan African gold Dinar and they couldn’t let him get away with that.

So far as the chemical weapons are concerned if Saddam did in fact still have some left he didn’t send them to Syria as is written in this article.

I don’t have enough information but it’s possible that America supplied chemical weapons to Saddam. We definitely helped him with intelligence so he could use them against the Iranians.

Good point about the media. If it weren’t for the media cheer leading we may never have gone to war. Bill O’Reilly criticized critics of the war and told them to shut up but later realized the folly of his ways and admitted he was wrong. Hindsight is 20/20 so they say. The media most definitely has blood on their hands.

By God’s grace i’m learning that the more that Christians get involved in ‘civil affairs’, taking sides and trying to solve problems in the flesh, the more of a mess we create. And sometimes when we think we are helping to solve problems we are just the helping hands of the ruling elites who want the chaos we end up making, because it serves their long term interests. The gospel and repentance is the ONLY answer to every problem that plagues mankind…..we as believers need to confine ourselves to the gospel. Forgive us Lord and help us to do your will instead of what seemeth right which always leads to death.

More than ever, I believe the key is to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Too many Christians have become cold, hard and critical, but we’re meant to be demonstrating the hope we have in Christ to those who are perishing.
Being a people of prayer has been on my heart— I believe this is a key to not losing hope and becoming cold hearted.

As corruption and evil increase, I see this as a call for us to go back to prayer and intercede— standing in the gap that exists between the kingdom and glory of God and crumbling kingdoms of this age, asking that God would turn people from darkness to light and from lies to the truth.
The present situations is a ‘target rich environment’ for those who are sensitive to the work of the Spirit of God calling forth a people of prayer—people who refuse to condemn and judge, but instead petition God, that he would show mercy and bring repentance, righteousness and restoration.
